What kind of bedroom furniture would go with a metal bed?
I am getting new furniture for my bedroom, but the bed I really want is metal. What kind of (or color or whatever) furniture can I use?

- i have a metal bed, and antique pine colour everything else lol, it looks ok i guess, but there again its only a bed room and nobody really sees it
- tis up 2 you i have a metel day bed from ikea with a mix match of other stuff from ikea and argos , and a chair thats been in our family for like forever , my room i all open plan so you can c all my cloeths ect so it motivates me 2 keep it tidy because theres no where 2 hide the mess xxx
- Any pale coloured woods would go well with a metal bed.
- i feel beech furniture goes really with steel (or similar) furniture, and many stores such as Argos do ranges that incorporate both of these in designs, such as Modena or Marlin. Many woods would go well with metal, however, like light oak or pine. It really comes down to personal taste. I would suggest shying away from dark wood furniture though, as I think this clashes with more modern furniture.
- oooohhh! id say white and light purples, and a wardrobe with mirrors, my nans bedroom was stunning! i know ur thinking "your nan!" but trust me its amazing! ill post the link, cuz her house is for sale, she never had a metal bed, but it would still look nice.... now, she had a white dressing table, purple bed covers and no cutains, just this material that dragged over the curtain roll, anyway have a look! i think its amazing! (im 20 by the way) lol. anyway, let me no what u think xxxx http://www.homesonview.co.uk/Scripts/ShowPhotos.asp?CompanyID=DAWSKILL&ID=DKP00950&pic=7
- I suggest something neutral with nice simple lines. Maybe a really dark brown, even black. Then you could do metal finishing pieces like drawer pulls, etc... to mimic the style of the bed. You could do metal light fixtures and a metal framed mirror to pull style from the bed too. See the sites below for ideas on accent pieces.
- A plain white w/c and washbasin, one plain rough blanket, painted brick walls.one plain hard chair and no curtains and must have steel bars on the window, and a thick steel door with a view point and large secure bar on the outside .would be ok
- i think having silver accessories such as a silver lamp, silver clock, silver cd rack, silver chair, silver desk, silver handles on your wardrobe or chest of draws. Then, to add colour you should choose one colour for accessories such as the duvet cover, curtains, carpet, etc
- i suggest some deep color furniture to match
